Terms & Conditions

Please read carefully and be sure you understand the Trainlikeaking Terms & Conditions before registering and signing up for all online training programs. Your purchase and use of services imply that you have read and accepted the below Terms & Conditions. These terms may change at any time under my discretion without prior notice.

Introduction

Your agreement is with Tupuria King TRAINLIKEAKING training plans purchased online. All training plans have been designed to meet a range of fitness levels.

Trainer

Tupuria King holds a master’s degree in Sports Performance, graduating in New Zealand.

​

Trainer’s Obligations

Tupuria King has used his skills and knowledge to design safe training plans that can be modified if needed to suit clients' abilities. You understand that the results of any fitness plan cannot be guaranteed. Your progress depends on your effort. You acknowledge that individual results may vary, and no particular result is guaranteed by Trainlikeaking. All client information within the program will be kept strictly private and confidential.

Your Obligations

It is understood between you and Tupuria King that you, as the trainee, will complete your training plan to the best of your ability. Understand and agree that it is your responsibility to inform of any conditions or changes to your health, now and ongoing, which might affect your ability to exercise safely and with minimal risk of injury. You understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a training plan of strenuous exercise. If you sustain or claim to sustain any injury while participating in training, you acknowledge that Tupuria King is not responsible. Tupuria King cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions. You must stop all participation from the online training plans if changes to your health affect safely performing exercises.

Payment

Payment for programs must be made through the Trainlikeaking.com website. Payments are managed via Stripe (www.stripe.com) and are processed in NZD. All transactions will be charged in the equivalent amount of your host currency in relation to the NZD price. All calculations and exchange rates are managed via Stripe.

Cancellation and Refunds

Once purchased, your training plan is non-refundable. All additional promotional training plans are non-refundable. As the products provided are intangible, there are no refunds or exchanges. If you believe there has been an error with your purchase, please email training@tupuriaking.com to discuss a resolution.

Health and Safety

Trainer has completed and holds a current certificate for emergency first aid.

Liability

Trainlikeaking is not liable for loss or damage to your property. Trainlikeaking is not liable if you ignore recommendation, at any time, to seek medical advice. Trainlikeaking is not liable for any serious injury or death as a result of the use of the programs. All law pursuit is controlled and ruled in the country at which the registered company is resides under the New Zealand law and authorities.

Intellectual Property

Any marketing, educational or other materials, including the training plans and/or any variations thereto and its nutrition services materials, made available to you will always be subject to copyright. You undertake to use such materials only for your own personal development and not to copy, publish or reproduce any such materials. They are created based on the personal experience, academic studies, and experience of a competitive and professional paddler.

General

Trainlikeaking has the right to change these Terms and Conditions, for example, to offer new services or as required by law. Trainlikeaking will notify you of any change. Training plans are designed for people who have some knowledge in waka ama or outrigger canoeing and are interested in improving their paddling performance. It is not designed for those with injuries, health problems, or any other problems that exertion could affect. If you have any concerns, you should consult with your medical professional for advice or clearance to proceed.
